While in the middle of designing this B-sides and rarities package Dan realized that Low's music had been an active musical influence in his life longer than any other band he still listened to. This realization inspired him to send a gushy, drunken email to then bassist Zak Sally. Although Sally is no longer with the band (we hope by no fault of Dan's gushy email) the band is still going strong and Zak has gone and started his own successful independent publishing house called La Mano, which we've also assisted on some random projects with him.
