Joel Larson ‘CO-OP’ Promotional Book
Many artists who work within a commercial creative discipline (like our friend and local commercial photographer Joel Larson), constantly balance a coexistence between the work that pays, and the work that all the leftover money gets blown on. This promotional book, entitled “CO-OP”, is an experiment in forging a cooperative connection between these two double-lives to create a greater meaning between the two images. What we discovered in sequencing these photos is just how fascinating some of these photos become when pairing personal and commercial work. They are unquestionably greater than the sum of their parts. Cover screenprinted in-house, then applied and bound in with the rest of the offset-printed book.
