Ray Ban “Never Hide”
One of the most interesting aspects about graphic design, and the poster especially, is the ephemeral and public quality of it all. The poster is synonymous with a fast, brief emotional and informational read, for the purpose of a specific moment in time that may soon pass. By this, there is nothing inherently precious about a poster. Of course, sometimes a poster image contains a powerful cultural message that lives far beyond the frailty of a printed piece of paper, and this is unquestionably beautiful. And then sometimes the poster simply exists and then, like everything else in the world, is destroyed to make room for more. This destruction is arguably just as beautiful.
